Weezer Player terms

Welcome to the use of Weezer Player (hereinafter referred to as “This Software”), this User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “The Agreement”) is a legally binding agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as “The User”) and the developer of this Software (hereinafter referred to as “The Developer”) regarding the use of this Software. Please read carefully and fully understand all the terms of this Agreement. When you click “Agree” or use this Software, it is considered that you have accepted all the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to this Agreement, do not use this Software.

1. License to Use the Software

1.2.1 Users may not reverse engineer, reverse-compile, reverse-assemble, decrypt, modify, tamper with, or attempt to obtain the source code of the Software, and may not create derivative works from the Software.

1.2.2 Users may not copy, distribute, distribute, rent, lend or transfer the Software to any third party, nor may they transfer the license rights related to the Software to anyone else.

2. User Accounts and Security

4.1.1 All Intellectual Property Rights of this Software (including but not limited to source code, software interfaces, icons, text, algorithms, etc.) are owned by the developer and are protected by the relevant Intellectual Property Law.

4.2 Content Intellectual Property Rights

4.2.1 The intellectual property rights of the music content that users play through this Software belong to the relevant rights holders. Users only enjoy the legal rights to play, and may not violate the copyright, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights of others.

4.2.2 If the user violates the intellectual property rights of others by using this Software, all responsibility resulting from this is borne by the user alone and is not related to the developer.

5. Privacy Protection

5.1 Privacy Collection and Use

5.1.1 Developers will only collect information necessary for users to use this Software (such as device information, playback records, etc.), for the purpose of optimizing the Software performance, improving the user experience, and will not collect irrelevant personal privacy information.

5.2 Privacy Protection Commitment

6. Software Updates and Maintenance

6.1 Update Service

6.1.1 Developers have the right to release updated versions of this Software based on technical upgrades, feature optimizations, and other needs. Users can freely choose whether to update or not, and not updating may result in some features not working properly.

6.2 Maintenance Responsibilities

6.2.1 The developer will endeavor to ensure the proper operation of this Software and provide timely maintenance for software failures that occur, but does not guarantee that the Software is free of any failures, nor does it assume responsibility for user losses caused by software failures.

7. Disclaimer

7.1 Limitation of Liability

7.1.1 This Software is provided “as is,” and the developer does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the Software, nor assumes any warranty responsibility, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties for the Software‘s stability and security.

7.1.2 The developer assumes no responsibility for any failure to use or loss to the user of software due to non-developer causes such as irresistible forces, network failures, device problems, improper user operation, etc.

7.2 Third Party Responsibility

7.2.1 This Software may contain third-party links or services. The developer is not responsible for the security or legality of third-party services. Users bear the risks arising from using third-party services at their own risk.

8. Protocol Changes and Dispute Resolution

8.1 Changes to the Agreement

8.1.1 Developers have the right to modify this Agreement based on product development or changes in laws and regulations. The modified Agreement will be published in the Software, and users will continue to use the Software as if accepting the modified Agreement.

8.2 Dispute Resolution

8.2.1 Any disputes arising from or related to this Agreement shall first be resolved by friendly negotiation by the parties; if negotiation fails, any party has the right to file a lawsuit in the courts of jurisdiction where the developer resides.
